Broden Kel Verdox was a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic. During Verdox's travels across the galaxy, Broden came across a primitive species on the planet of Yalara. Feeling that the natives were not ready to join the galactic community, Broden decided to protect the natives of Yalara and prolong their maturation. To do this, Broden Kel Verdox harnessed the power of an ancient cloaking technology to conceal the entire planet from discovery. Centuries later, Jedi scholar Tionne discovered Broden Kel Verdox and his work in the Yalara system in the databanks of a Jedi holocron.
